We are a registered Company Limited by Guarantee with charitable objects, operating on a "not-for-personal-profit" basis. The reason for setting Cycle Chain up in this way is to be seen as an organisation committed to creating real opportunities for individuals maintained through its trading activities rather than grant funding.
The directors of Cycle Chain are non-remunerated and any surpluses are invested into the business to help achieve our aims.
The Directors of Cycle Chain bring a balanced and complementary range of skills and experience; with the one thing they have in common being that they are all keen cyclists. Where we can we work with partner organisations and build relationships with stakeholders and other interested parties to place people in jobs rather than employ them directly ourselves.
